𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝑨𝒊𝒓 placed 3rd at GenBattle LA by OpenArt. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘺.

OpenArt AI put together an incredible event in Venice — a film competition with a brief, a screening, and an afternoon packed with talented creators in this space.

The brief had a theme — Open / Close — and asked for creative use of the OpenArt logo. Not just slapped on at the end.

I immediately noticed how close "Open Air" and "OpenArt" are and ran with it.

The film in a nutshell: Two old best friends jump from a plane into a wide open sky. One floats away without a care. The other can't get his parachute open. The film lives in that freefall — the panic, the desperation, and finally the moment he stops fighting and lets go completely. Turns out letting go was the answer the whole time. 🪂

Being in that room was the real win though. So many talented creators all building in the same direction, plus the OpenArt team who are clearly onto something big. The kind of afternoon that makes you want to go make ten more things immediately.
